The new SW108 Hybrid is the next project of Southern Wind Shipyard

The new SW108 Hybrid is next in the line of Southern Wind projects featuring naval architecture from Farr Yacht Design, known for their exceptional handling, precise balance and ready performance.

"The lightship weight of only 73.2 tons combined with a ballast ratio above 35%, is a remarkable achievement by Southern Wind. The benefits of the low displacement-length are a more manageable rig size that still delivers outstanding performance. Less overall mass in both the bulb and the rig greatly reduce pitching and promote a smooth, comfortable ride with less slamming. The SW108 is sure to deliver a hugely satisfying sailing experience for the helmsmen, guests and crew”, explains Jim Schmicker, Vice President at Farr Yacht Design.

The first unit of the SW108 Hybrid is currently under construction for delivery to her proud owner in Summer 2023.
